Head of Extraction - Medical Marijuana Lab
Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description We are looking to hire a Hydrocarbon Extractor to work full time at our medical marijuana extraction lab.
Position duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain extraction operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
Extracting cannabis through various methods and post-extraction processing, to ensure quality oil and terpenes, using some or all of following materials / techniques:
Hydrocarbon, CRC and post extraction techniques Regulatory compliance is an important responsibility of this role.
Must follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials and adhere to all OSHA regulations.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment and facility.
Inventory and record keeping of lab equipment.
Maintain inventory records of supplies, materials, and temperatures of machinery.
Assist with laboratory and equipment cleanup.
Wash and sterilize lab surfaces and glassware.
Disposal of waste to keep laboratory and all other working areas in good condition.
General routine maintenance on lab equipment.
Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and regular data logging.
General & Physical Requirements :
Light to moderate lifting (up to 25-75lbs); heavier weights with assistance.
Honest, Trustworthy, and excellent communication skills Ability to follow directions.
Stay current with up-to-date industry standards.
Preparing equipment and plant materials for extraction.
Capable of making products such as:
shatter, badders, pantechs, diamonds/sauce, live resin and more.
Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment as needed.
